The Wall Street Journal reported that law school applications and admissions have increased significantly. Prospective students know lawyers are now jobless in record numbers. Yet, they plan to go to law school. Why?
Some are simply seeking a place to park themselves to wait out the recession. They want to do something now that may put them in a better employment position in three or four years.
